I bought a pair of 2 2gig ram sticks. I installed them and booted my pc up and it only got to start screen, so naturally thinking i may have bad ram i put my old ones back in and now my screen says no signal.
I have looked online and apparently ram and no signal are very common but how to fix it is not lol.

1.) How can I get my signal back?
2.) How do should I install my new sticks?

Please tell me the make and model number of the original RAM and the new RAM.

Did you have the PC disconnected from the power supply when you swapped the RAM sticks and if it is a laptop did you also remove the battery?

Please provide the model number of the PC.

Was the PC showing any performance issue before you changed the RAM, if so please describe the symptoms.

Have you got all your important data backed up?
