(yahoo email account)

this might be difficult to explain.

this morning,i checked my yahoo email inbox, there were " 0" New emails. one hour later, rechecked my emails and i had "1" New email.

whats unusual? when i went to check the new email,it actually was listed as arriving 3 weeks ago. this is not the first time this oddity has occurred, but reocurring almost everyday. because it is a spam email(if not worse)i deleted the email without opening it.

but once again,i will go to check my emails, there will be no new emails, then i will recheck and i'll get another New email but being listed as arriving 3 weeks ago.

its different email subjects

i assume its a new spam trick. for 2 months ago,i have been using a block address tool for all spam mail

That's weird!

I have had emails show up higher in my list (like they had come earlier) but I know they were the most recent.

that's because yahoo use dozens of email servers and one of them must have the wrong date set up, happens all the time to my Tiscali emails, their servers keep crashing and wrong dates are input

There was another thread about emails with wrong dates from Yahoo addresses, but it was all email, not just spam.
The problem should be fixed now, these spammers probably just took advantage of the wrong dates while it lasted.
