New Spyware program ...........if some are already using let us know what you think !!??

    Features Listing:
    -Fast scanning engine
-Scans exe and cab files - the two most popular file types for distributing spyware
-Signature-based scanning - for known spyware
-Heuristic/generic detection capabilities - some spyware programs can be detected even if the code undergoes significant changes
-Small size - with a small size and small definition sizes, download and updates are quick
-SG Control Panel - provides easy access to help and integration options
-SG LiveUpdate - provides an easy updating solution
-Spyware files are blocked BEFORE being opened or run - they are NOT simply shut down after they are loaded in memory (and after they have performed their tasks)
-The full path to the spyware executable is provided on the alert screen
-Once a spyware file is detected and blocked from running, the options are provided to either continue or to delete the spyware file

It's a free download at the link above.

I've been looking at Fresh Diagnose.com
This link below shows another spyware, anyone know anything about it.
I'll go back to Adaware soon as I can get the new download, it's so uncomplicated, until then any users have any opinions on this one.
    Regards

as soon as windows tries to open/install the software BANG!
SG kicks in and says........"TUT TUT TUT ....BAD IDEA"...or words to that effect.
so it works to a degree....lets try a few different programs between us and really put it through its paces.

hmmm! no so good news with our hairy purple friend.......no not that one:eek: ....."bonzi buddy"..............failed miserably......and what a sonofabitch.......once the download is started, you dont get an option to cancel.......had to nuke it in dev man and then set spybots dogs on the thing.
ill contact the javacool guy and let him no the score on that one....obviously needs a little more time to get all the defs in the program.
as for "spywarenuker".........its a pay for program,i dont mind donating cos you can see the guys have done it for no financial gain but this one smacks of exploitation to me.

SpywareNuker is confirmed spyware itself, and has been targeted by SpyBot for a while already.

Spyware Guard on the other hand certainly is a interesting concept.

As it's only a few weeks old it's database is as yet pretty limited, but that's bound to change as time goes by.
