When I transfer files through Dropbox, I got an error message that some properties could not be transferred, Initially I ignored it but when I had issues playing videos (6GB size), I googled and found that such error could occur when a file is transferred from NTFS to FAT disk. My FAT disk is a brand new Western Digital SSD disk (external). I want to avoid these future problems because even within my disks, the formats are different. My C Drive has NTFS format, A flash drive- FAT32. Above SSD - exFAT. I have to store the videos on the external hard disk (exFAT) as I do not have space on my C drive (NTFS).

Can you please help with with (possibly all of) the following questions:

-Can I reformat my SSD to NTFS without causing additional issues?
-How do I reformat?
-Does it help with my video playback issue?
-Will I have to be cognizant of the format when I but a disk and choose one versus the other?

Thanks

Arun
