I am trying to network a win xp machine and a win 98se machine through a router. Using tcp/ip i can see the win 98 machine but cannot access any files. I have been sucessfull at accessing files from the xp machine on the 98 machine using netbuis protocal. But, I have not been able to get the win 98 machine to reconize the xp machine at all. Any ideas?

i think you may have to set up a network password for you to access files on your 98 machine

Thanks for posting. I solved it. The problem was with a firewall on the 98 machine.
