Yes, I'm so proud of thinking our wee slice o' heaven is celebrated worldwide. In fact, when my wife was asked to sing at the funeral of a former university president, he chose "Danny Boy" and "The Bonnie Banks o' Loch Lomond". The lump in my throat after she sang the first song grew to the size of a basketball when I thought of home.
I've been here over 18 years and haven't lost my accent. In fact, we joke to people that my wife made me sign a prenuptial agreement stating she could apply for a divorce if I ever lost it
