About 1 year ago my husband had to fill out a form for work. He had the form emailed to our outlookexpress and we opened the form...filled it out and saved it in My Documents. Since then the form has been sent to the recycling bin and deleted.

BUT...ever since that day whenever click on the Word Icon, Pull Up Word from the Start Menu, or clickon New Document from the start menu...the Blank Form that pulls up in word has the text from that form my husband had to fill out!!!

    It wont go away!

How do I fix this problem?:(

The details in the form have somehow been saved in your "normal.dot" template file by the sound of it.

Search for and rename all copies of "normal.dot" (rename to "normal.old" or delete them)

When word first starts, it will re-create a new clean version of the file with default settings.

It may be marked as a system file, and therefore you need to enable viewing and searching of system files in the Start - Search - advanced area (depends on which vesion of Windows you are using)

Do not have Word running while you do this.

If you cannot find any occurrences of the file then you have not enabled the right search parameters, it has to exist once for each login that uses Word as a minimum.
