NewsReader Application

    Can anyone please reccommend to me a good alternative/replacement newsreader to Outlook Express. I am having a lot of trouble (as in previous thread) with OE and as I use MS Outlook 2000 for my e-mail I don't really need OE.

    I do use the newsgroups though so if anyone has knowledge of this I would be most grateful. Thanks

    One of the most widely-used newsreaders is Forte FreeAgent and the registered cousin Forte Agent. I have used Forte Agent for years, and I don't have a single complaint. FreeAgent is missing some key features Agent has, but it is still a great newsreader and, of course, it's FREE.

    The tucows site is nice because it gives you a concise description, as well as a rating, for each program. THe more cows (up to a max of five, I think) the better!
