Hi -am new to TSG - I have checked the forums, but nothing seems to answer my query.
My Nexus 7 went flat on me last week - it had done it the week before when installing the latest OS update, but later trickle charged up fine. Now? nothing. If I press the power button, I get the empty battery icon & yes I've tried all the possible button and/or time to press options - i've even tried it on 5 different chargers for 72 hours, but to no avail. So, do I get a new battery? It would help to know if my battery is dead first before I lay out the readies, only to find out it was the motherboard, etc. does the fact that the screen shows up a flat battery mean it's the battery? I know PC's, but tablets are way above my head. By the way, I had let my battery go flat as I assumed (old school) that it was good for it to run it down from time to time.
    Any help would be appreciated.
