    Hello all,
I have an electrical screwdriver. Lately, its battery life became too short, so I opened it up and found out one of the batteries was already leaking some white stuff.
There are 4 batteries in there which I believe are NiCd, by checking the model: "byd d-aa800mah".
My question is: Can I replace those batteries with NiMH batteries? I would like to get the greater capacity of NiMH, but I heard that NiMH can deliver less current than NiCd. Will it work at all?

it will depend if the charger will support NiMH a NiMH charger can charge NiCD but a NiCD charger cannot charge NiMH as it can overcharge and cause damage

The charger outputs 6V 250mA. It should be fine for NiMH, doesn't it?
