    Hi friends,

two days before, my laptop running windows 7 64, hunged. I pressed the power button to power off it. When the machine restarted, came up with a message 'cannot start windows' and attemped to make repairs. After some time and one more restart, I managed to logon. However for some programms (skype, gtalk, acrobat) I receive may times the following error.
window title program name - Bad Image
window message "NLAapi.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error"

By searching to your forums, I found a similar post...

I also tried to restore previous restore points with no success.
Can you please help me? Thank you in advance. (y)

Try running SFC /SCANNOW Click the link for the tutorial. NLaapi.dll ("Network Location Awareness 2") is a Windows system app. By running the above command it may resolve the problem.

Yes, seeing that SFC failed you can give the Windows 7 Repair Install a try.
