I get an nmi parity check/error right after the boot screen of XP
I just instaled a video card ZOTAC Geforce gt 520 ( pcie x1) and removed a conexant modem pci card
Was i right for not installing drivers before installing this video card?
The graphics work fine in everything and the mobo is working the graphics from this card
Its just XP thats the problem
I have installation cd for drivers for the card and am running memtest86+ right now .
Should i remove the card then install drivers then reinstall the card?
And do i have to remove any other drivers for my machine before installing these drivers from the cd?
    Dell Dimension e310
    Mobo 0jc474
    2 gigs ram(crucial 533)
    P4 HT Prescott 521 @2.8 ghz
    (Linux works great!)
