No Audio

    Hey all im new to this forum, any ways i just recently reinstalled my laptop it is a MX6436 Gateway model, I went to my manufacturer's site and downloaded most of the things i needed but when i try to download the audio part it fails to do the set up. Ive tried to download Audio drivers and everything still yet nothing. I really dont know alot about computers.

    When you say reinstalled, do you me reinstalled the os. And is it xp?

    yeah its xp but what do you mean by reinatslled the os? i completly erased everythin on my laptop

    awww now it says this after i downloaded from that link, while i was trying to run it it said this "Windows cannot find '/swsetup/audio/setup.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again to search for a file click the start button and click search.

    now what do i do?
