No CD Rom

    I have formatted my C drive, reinstalled W ME and now installed an incompatible Video Driver! I can only get a display in Safe Mode and cant get any access to the CD Rom drive. HELP!

    It's normal not to have access to CD-ROM drives in Safe Mode so that's a non-issue.

    If you install a incorrect video driver navigate to Device Manager (in Safe Mode is best anyway); click the plus sign beside Display Adapters and highlight each device inside Display Adapters (each in turn) and click the Remove button until no main Display Adapters entry appears in the list and restart your computer via the Start button. If you're using a brand name computer let me know the make, model and serial number and I'll help you find the correct driver.
