Before I Start I have no experience nor knowledge about computers. My internet won't connect. It shows grey bars with a red X on it. I've tried going to device manager uninstalling my WiFi adapter than restoring it. I've tried hooking up the Ethernet cord to my laptop, still nothing. A button on my keyboard is usually white when the WiFi is on and now its orange. When I click that it still won't turn on. When I troubleshoot it says wireless capability is turned off and a network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken. I've also tried recovering my laptop to an earlier date. Nothing has worked. Please help.

Hi I'd like to try to help ya.

Can you tell me what version of Windows you have?

At first guess, I would suspect either a faulty wireless driver or a dead wireless card altogether.

What happens when you connect with an Ethernet cable?
