Can anyone explain this :-

When I go to C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files - there is no "content.ie5" folder

If I type content.ie5 thus

C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\content.ie5 and press enter - the content.ie5 folder opens with the subfolders and index.dat in it

When I go up a level - it goes back to the temporary internet files folder but with NO content.ie5 folder in it

Is this normal - I'd never noticed it wasn't there before

Is this folder supposed to be hidden ?

On some systems it is. On XP you never see it. I do a DOS prompt to get a look at it. Do you have Show all files selected in Folder Options>View ?

Hi Mosaic1

Yes "show all files" is selected

It's no problem - I was just surprised not to see the folder

Thanks
