    Afternoon

Have a problem with the pc not displaying anything on the monitor. The light just goes straight to amber. Installed another graphics card and getting exactly the same response. PC power ups with no error bleeps on startup. PC running windows me.

You don't get any splash screen or anything at all.
Are you sure the monitor is ok? Is the monitor cable plugged in securly?

Do you have 2 video adapters, one onboard and one added in?
If so, have you tried the monitor in both?
