I have never seen this error before, in fact I don't know what
incorrect function refers to. Hope someone can tell me how
to change this. I'm dual booting win XP home and Linux (on
separate partitions). I know that the drives are ok because
they work just fine in Linux. I was on vacation for six weeks,
and the drives worked ok in win XP, but not since I came home. The drives (2) show up in My Computer, but won't
let me use them. System Restore does not go back far
enough to correct this. I have uninstalled the drives and
reinstalled them, but still get the same error message.
"Access denied - incorrect function". Does anyone have any
    ideas? Thanks.
