    Hey guys,
So I was downloading some music earlier and ran into a strange problem. I use various free servers for mp3 files and often use a site that converts YouTube URLS to mp3. In this case I was on a YouTube converter, and every time I went to download the file, it kept rejecting the DL. ( I'm on an Android BTW ). So I got an idea, instead of trying to download using the phone browser, I switched to the file explorer service. THIS time the file came down but oddly, it had no file extension?
The phone couldn't play because the .mp3 was missing from the file?
I fixed it by modifying the extension in File Browser but wtf? First of all, how can a file download from the internet if it doesn't contain an extension?
And why was the site, browser, phone sending me extensionless files?
Was it possibly some kind of virus?
Like I said, after adding .mp3 to the file names they became playable.
