I have rebuilt a system and have installed a hard drive that I have previously used. I have checked all the cables to make sure they are the right way and everything is plugged in right but when I boot the system it tells me that it needs to be partioned so then I use fdisk and this error message comes up "No fixed disk".
I can bring up the directoy on C:\ so to me that seems like it is looking at it!
So then I went to Quantams web site and downloaded the specifications for it and typed them in manually but that still hasn't fixed my problem.
    Does anyone have a solution?
