Whenever I open a folder the title bar shows either a single letter or question marks or various symbols or Chinese characters. Sometimes when I open My Documents it says C:\My Documents, but whenever I open another folder it could say C or a load of rubbish. I've tried Folder Options>view>display file path in title bar and I've run CHKDSK, antivirus, antispyware and Disk Cleanup, but it makes no difference. As far as I can tell everything else is OK. The problem does not occur with individual files or Internet Explorer.
