I've tried just about everything and I have no idea what the problem could be?
I'm having trouble with my window me.
It seems as though I cannot access anything
For instance, I want to open my media player, aaaannnn denied
I get a dialogue box that reads windows cannot find anything.exe you may have typed the name incorrectly in the run dialogue box or another program cannot find a system file:confused:

If you have had a trojan or other form of virus cleaned or quarantined by an antivirus program, the executable file of that virus may have become associated with the shell open command for executable programs in the registry.

To correct this, download, unzip and double click to run the exefix08 file from the Reticulated Toys site below. If you need an unzipped copy, click the Only IE link at the very bottom of the page.

I took Brian F suggestion and went to house call for an online virus scan.
Unfortunatley house call found some viruses and was unable to clean them.
That's great they were located now how shall I get rid of the pests?
Most of the viruses are called troj blebla.b -- pe cih -- and troj sub7.22.a

Please help??

You may not be able to entirely get rid if cih short of a format. But run the Kill cih tool from symantec that eddie posted to in the second to last post in this thread. (do it first!):

http://forums.techguy.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=56968

For Blebla, see the instructions I gave here:

http://forums.techguy.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=57077

Moosoft should get rid of your Trojan:

http://www.moosoft.com/

If you are having problems runing executables, run the exefix08 file from the Reticulated Toys link.

When you are finished, run the StartupLog.com file and post the results of the Startuplog.txt file here.

Hi dumbfound, it isn't the stubbpaths.txt that we need to see but the StartupLog.txt

And instead of including it as an attachment, just open it, click Edit>Select All>Edit>copy

Then Right click and paste the copy into your next reply.
