I am trying to reinstall Windows XP on to my dads old PC which came with Windows XP on it, I keep getting this error when i try to install it

    "NO HARD-DRIVES DETECTED"

now I did recently perform a CMOS clear and think it may be related..

theres no options in BIOS for AHCI/IDE etc
I have re-installed XP on this before
and I have tried slip-streaming SATA drivers (which ive not needed to do before)

    can anyone help?

    thanks
