I have installed a Suba SD-SATA150R card with a WD SATA drive. It works, but there is no hard drive light at all. The light worked with the IDE drive I took out.

The card uses a Silicon Image chip. The mobo is ECS N2U400-A.

Is a dark hard drive light normal when using a PCI SATA card?
