I'm guessing he has internet through the router with his computer and you don't?

Make sure there is no restrictions in the router (such as by MAC address, which there shouldn't unless he enabled it).

Go to the start icon in the bottom left hand corner, click all programs, accessories, command prompt. In the black box, type ipconfig/all and paste the results in this form.

It looks as if you are connected to the router. In the command prompt, type ipconfig/release, and then ipconfig/renew and see if it works then.

Try removing the wireless profile. Go to start icon, control panel. Under network and security, click view network status and tasks. On the left hand side, click manage wireless networks. Find the network your trying to connect to, left click it and at the top select remove. Then, try to reconnect to the network, making sure you enter the credentials correctly.

Alright. If that still doesn't work, if you have an ethernet cable, you could try plugging directly into the router. If you are able to get internet this way, then we know for sure the problem is with your wireless card. If you cannot, then there is some other problem.
