Everytime I turn on my computer, I receive a message that a PS/2 pointing device is not connected. (I have a new USB connected mouse).
When I hit enter, I can continue as usual so it is just a nuisance not a major problem. How can I get rid of this message.

    Hi littlelisa, welcome to TSG.

    1) You might take a look in your bios setup to see if there is an entry there for PS2 mouse, and disable it from there.

    2) If not, go to start button, settings, control panel, system, device manager, find the ps2 mouse and place a check mark in the box that says 'disable in this hardware profile' and restart the computer.
