    hi guys,

i have an sbs server 2003 and a small domain (+- 10 computers)
how come if the server goes down (because some idiot disconnected the power, yes i have ordered a UPS, should have it in a few days) are none of the clients able to go on the internet.

the server is controlling DHCP, yet everything looked normal on the client side.
i had an address and was able to ping my router...but no external addresses...
bring the server up...and everything normal...

If DHCP wasnt running i shouldnt have got an address...and i would have no network connection.
    how is this possible?

Its a DNS issue most likely.
