    Hi,
    My system crashed, black screen.
To get it working, i used an old 2012 system image disk and continued on to carbonite, reinstalling.
Now i have old files i no longer used and no sound.
Checked and it report "no problem".
Called for repair, but need to lug it there and leave for 2-3 days.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you check if drivers are up to date?

Yes, was at suggested site for hours.
After getting my AVG security re- installed from AVG last night, I was told today that the problem was, the PC had polymorphic infections and it could be fixed for 199.
For some reason my credit card rejected to pay. They called and ask if my car # was used by someone.
I guess I am stuck without sound, but PC works; or get back to same site and get the repair done.

I had the PC build at Megaherz.
Intel Dual Core E5200 4.0GB RAM 320 GB DVDRW

I do not know if this helps

start > run > sysdm.cpl > hardware tab > check for any yellow exclamation marks and let us know, please.
