no sound at all

    hi i have a satellite L 300 and no sound is working from the speakers or the headphone connection, can someone plz help to fix it, at the bottom right hand corner it says that sound is available and when i test it it is working but no sounds working

    Howdy,

    First thing to try would be a System Restore point to a date before when the sound was working.

    Go Start>>All Programs>>Accessories>>System Restore

    hi, i have windows vista home premium i think, when i follow your steps it doesn't have system restore option, what else can i try?/ thanks very much for the fast reply :)

    Sorry...I forgot a step

    Go Start>>All Programs>>Accessories>>System Tools>>System Restore

    Select choose a diffgerent Restore point...and see if you have one to before the problem with the sound.

    yeah i restored it from 6mths ago and still no sound with anything,

    hi, i deleted old driver and installed the one you suggested, same problem says that sound is working but no sound coming out of the laptop at all, any other ideas?? thanks

    yeah in the bottom right hand corner with the speaker and sound waves coming out of it, i click on it and move the volume bar up and down and the little green sound bar goes up and down when i move it i'm assuming making a noise but none coming out of the pc

    Hey guys can you help me, I have instaled windows 7 ultimate and have no sound.The problem is realtek ac 97 audio driver code (10) the device cannot start.I had this problem before and thought when I install a new windows it will be solved but no! pls help me I`m so... f***** bored without sound and can`t take it any more!!!! I tried to reinstall and update the driver but nothing...
