No sound to speakers using Windows 10

    No sound to external speakers although the earphones work ok and I am using Windows 10

    Exact system specs? Have you tried connecting the speakers into the front audio jack? If it works that way, either the rear audio jack soldering was not strong enough to handle the shock from putting the male jack in it or the audio jack itself is broken. And with earphones, you mean with the front audio jack or the rear jack, because if the rear jack is working with the earphones, that may suggest your speakers are dead.
