I have a turtle beach montego sound card and I am getting no sound when playing games. I have sound when playing a cd and sound when using windows. Are their known issues with this or is it just a setting in the multimedia and sound. I am using win 98 and the drivers have been recently deleted and reinstalled. I was getting no sound before.

Go to start>run and type in dxdiag. Look under audio to see if your sound cards driver are DirectX compatible.

You might need to run the game settings to set the sound, and other configurations. Just a thought.
