NO SOUND-windows media device lost

    I am really sorry to bother again. But I can't get any sound in my PC. I need it desperately, since I work as a translator and I just got a program to dictate to my PC. (Voice to Text) and there is no way I can get WMD to work. Can you please help me?

    first we need some specs on the computer and when you started having this prob. what type of media card you have and so forth and how long have you had your computer.
