no sound

hey, i have win98 and tried to change to windows xp pro. In the beginning it said my audio device {als120 logical device 0 wave audio device} may not be compatible, well it wasnt, could you help me? also the only thing i noticed was the xp device was not sighned, i dont know if that helps you, it doesnt help me. thankyou for any help

Well, I'm afraid there isn't a whole lot you can do.

Check the manufactures website for XP drivers and download all the windows XP updates.

I'm afraid if this doesnt work you may have to get a new card unless someone else has any ideas???

Have you tried going to the Windows Update Site and seeing if it lists a updated driver for that card and Windows XP?

If not, In Internet Explorer click on Tools>Windows Update and follow the prompts. Once it presents you with a list of the Available Updates, scroll to the bottom and check for any Driver updates.

Let us know what happens
