Now I cannot hear sound from my laptop.

This happens after my laptop accidentally turn off (possibly due to loose battery (possibly due to its lock is accidentally opened). At that time i was in the middle of playing sound and microphone.

What is happening with my laptop?

I also cannot hear using headphone! Actually, when the accident happen, I am in the beginning of trying my new headphone.

Is this repairable? Or if not, I maybe will use external (USB) sound card or pcmcia sound card.

If system restore does not work, what make and model laptop are we working with?

And just to be certain...do you have the speaker icon
in your task tray (lower right of the screen) double click on that and make sure all of the volume levels are all the way up and none of them are muted.
