    hello guys,

i have a problem. I am trying to download sp1 for windows 7 (yes i know im late) along with some other important updates and its not working at all. It wont install any updates.

    the updates included are:

Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2032276)

Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2658846)

Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2454826)

Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2484033)

Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2488113)

Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2511250)

Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2522422)

Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB974431)

    Windows 7 Service Pack 1 for x64-based Systems (KB976932)

I have tried system readiness tool, and also microsoft fixit program. neither have worked. Have checked in services that windows upate and base intelligence are running and on automatic. i have tried a clean boot to see if that would help. have deleted 7gigs worth of unnecessary files and still nothing.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

go to the microsoft download center again and search for KB2454826 download and save to desktop, close internet and all open apps and then double click the download to install,if this installs reboot and try SP1 again.

Windows 7 SP1 will not appear in Windows Update if you have one of the following files on your computer.•Igdkmd32.sys (32-bit), versions 8.15.10.2104 through 8.15.10.2141
    •Igdkmd64.sys (64-bit), versions 8.15.10.2104 through 8.15.10.2141
These drivers are known to cause problems with certain applications that use D2D (Direct2D). For example, if you use these drivers together with Windows Live Mail under certain circumstances, Windows Live Mail could crash.

To check for the Intel integrated graphics driver and driver version, follow these steps:1. Start DirectX Diagnostic Tool. To do this, click Start

, type dxdiag in the Search programs and files box, and then press Enter.
    2.Click the Display tab.
3.Note the driver and driver version.
4.If you have the Intel integrated graphics driver and driver version 8.15.10.2104 through 8.15.10.2141, visit the computer manufacturer's website to see whether a newer driver is available.
