    Hiya

I know this may sound strange but have a try of this.

In your New Message, click Format | Font.

    Is the Color: White?

It is Black by default and the page white. You can change the page background by going to Format | Background | Colour

    Regards

    eddie,

    You saved the day......

I decided to go "Goth" and changed everything to black on my desktop and all other folders and applications but did not even think about the color of my font.

Thanks for you help, excellent as usual, and consider this solved.
