No video after boot in normal mode. safe mode OK

    Only have video in safe mode after virus. Can see the xp logo when loading in nomal mode, but when windows starts the screen goes blank. Have video in safe made only.

    I think you have lost your video card drivers somewhere along the road, or corrupted them or something else. Try uninstalling your video drivers from add/remove apps. and from device manager, then running some driver wiper program, and then reinstalling the newest drivers for your vid card, after downloading them from ATI/nVidia site, if you have a dedicated vid card.
