no video only sound on all files

    all my video was working correctly at a point and the last thing i remember installing when it stopd working was nero 7.after i installed that i went to watch a clip on my window media player(WMP) and the clip wouldnt show only sound would play, so i installed all the codec again, only divx would play some files now but not all my avi of mpeg.i downloaded GSPOT and everythin and i got all the codec. ran out of everythin what to do.

    already tried that too, that didnt work at all, i tried quicktime didnt work either,.another thing is when i tried to burn a movie it wouldnt even show what is burning

    ya, when i play mp3 on wmp the graphic shows(the visualize that plays with the beat of the music).

    uninstall all the Codecs ..... Restart .. Reinstall ... Let us know the results

    i did that like four times already,still the same..i downloaded every codec again..i went to filehippo.com to get all the codec and still none of them would play

    Start > Run > eventvwr.msc > copy and paste some of the recent errors

    Uninstall divx and and check what happens

    Yeah, Nero will mess with your codecs, uninstalled it couple of months ago, but now everything works fine.

    jus uninstalld divx, and now it showing the visual graphic that show when you play sound still no video now

    i read that nero messes up the codec and i delte all the nero codec already and stil the same
