    Hi everyone... first post here...

I have Windows XP Home SP 3. Had bigtime malware issues, used a combo of smitfraud fix/spybot/malwarebytes to clean it up. Running very smooth now (prob better than before the problems), however since malware attack #1 I've lost my Welcome screen and ability to switch users w/o logging off... here's what I've tried so far:

The simple fix of changing the classic vs. Welcome screen in Control Panel -> User Accounts - no luck.

Tried the Gina.dll fix - no luck

Checked the Registry - nothing unusal (that I can tell anyway)

It's not the end of the world but 2 people use this PC and it was convient to switch back and forth...

    Any ideas/sugesstion???

    Thanks,
    Justin

If only one user is listed the Welcome and change user will not work. To fix it have you gone into the Control Panel and selected User Accounts. Then added the second user?

    Hey Dan-O,

Yes I have 2 users setup, I can log into both successfully but have to log the other off first, and login manually, before we could just click the picture icon. Before my issues I was able to fast switch. System restore didn't help either.
