    Hello,
I have a desktop that is running on Windows 7. I'm using a belkin wireless router. I am also trying to use a Toshiba Satellite laptop, running on Windows Vista. I am not able to connect to the internet with my laptop. It is able to find my network, but it won't let me connect. When I plug the laptop directly into the wireless router, my internet works fine. I have been looking around for a while on google, and have not had any success in finding a working solution. Also, my ipod touch is able to connect with no problems

I've tried setting up a new connection and that didn't seem to work. How do I got about the firewall restriction?

Please attach a screen shot of the Networks page of the Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector and show ...

Start, Run, CMD, OK to open a command prompt:
(For Vista or 7 type CMD in the Search box after Start)

    Type the following command:

    IPCONFIG /ALL

[Note that there is no space between the slash and ALL.]

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If necessary use a text file and removable media to copy the results to a computer with internet access.
