I'm using a Dell Inspiron 9100 Laptop, and literally up to today, I never had problems with my Wireless internet, but now it simply doesn't connect to any access points whatsoever, but the configurations repeatedly say things are ok. After doing further inspection, it tells me that my wireless hardware is missing, but that simply isn't true. Here's my IP Config:

Are you trying this with encryption disabled? Do that first.

If that fails, try uninstalling the wireless adapter and rebooting. You may have to supply the drivers for the adapter again, they're on the Dell CD or you can download them from Dell.

Don't mean to seem completely clueless, but, how would you go about getting the encryption disabled?

You configure that in the wireless setup page of the router.

Please supply the following info, exact models of the equipment please.

The name of your ISP and country of residence.
Make/model of the broadband modem. If dial-up, please specify.
Make/model of the router (if any).
    Connection type, wired, wireless.
Make/model of network card or wireless adapter.
Make/model of your computer (motherboard if home-built).
Version and patch level of Windows on all affected machines, i.e. XP-Home SP2.

Integrated wireless adapter on a Dell laptop? If so, is it switched on? The toggle switch is probably the Fn + F2 key combination and there should be a blue LED to indicate whether the wireless is on.

My integrated wireless is on, but it's simply not connecting. There is nothing wrong with the router set up as all the other laptops I'm using work fine except this one. I'm going to try reinstalling the drivers.
