    I run norton av 2004 on my computer which has windows xp.When after the computer has been scanned ,I delete the files that it advises me 2 delete .In the status column it says in red letters delete f..... what does this mean and how get rid of those files?

    if delete fails, It probably means you do not have access to the files, So idk...

    Maybe you should just try a different virus scan. Cause i had the same problem a year ago and then i got a different virus scan and it deleted the file that nortan wouldnt
