Aloha,
I have two computers going to a router and then connected to roadrunner. I tried to use Norton's disk doctor to check my hdd and it comes up with a window saying "The operating system, or another process, currently has exclusive access to this drive, or some of it's files" and it cannot continue. I disabled the connection for the local network and turned off the other computer and even unplugged the cable to the router. Nothing seems to help short of removing the local network software which I don't want to do unless it is absolutely necessary. Any thoughts for this problem?? TIA

1) First computer: Disk Doctor works ok.
Win98SE
2) Second computer: Disk Doctor will not work.
Win XP

Mahalo,
