I just purchased, installed, and ran PC scan, and it came up w/ 4 adware "at risk" threats, I clicked on "delete" but it said it was unable to delete the files.
What can I do about it, do I really need to do anything about it?
I go to Symantic's site and can't find any real help on the topic as to what to do.
3 of these on C:\ drive, 1 on D:\ back up,

    Running Dell 4500, winXP, P 4 2.2G processor, 256 SDRAM

Usually Symantec can give you suggestions on how to delete the file manually if it's a trojan, virus, etc. You just have to type in the file name in the search.

From what I gather the scan only identifies malware and doesnt remove it.. I'm guessing they expect u to remove whats identified through add/remove.

Or you could just run adaware/spybot and yank them out that way.
