I can't receive e mail since last December 24. POP 3 server times out with error message Ox800CCC19. My ISP tells me Norton sent a bad up-date. I can disable Norton to get them but hate to do that. Any ideas or suggestions?

If it's a bad update, have you tried updating Norton to a more recent version to see if that helps? Or try rolling back if that's possible?

First I did System restore to before Christmas that worked for a day or 2 then Norton sent another up date and I am back where I started. My ISP sent me to A symantec link which was no help except to sell me a$41 PC OnPoint v 2.0. that still did not fix it.
