I have been getting a message about winlogon.exe since two days now. An intrusion from pozeml.com/oc/box.txt was blocked. The execution pad was /device/harddiskvolume2/windows/system32/winlogon.exe
The name was HTTP GoldInstall Downloader Activity

This message occurs at startup and is followed by a message regarding vrtd.tmp being removed.

I have run Ad-Aware full system scan, but it did not find anything.
Also I cannot access certain webpages, such as Symantec.com and MCAffee.com and other anti-virus/spyware websites.

I dont really know what to do next :(

I have run HijackThis and here is my log:

    Update:

I have removed my network cable to prevent further infections.
I have run symantecs W32.Virut.CF removal tool and it detected 2 threads in winlogon.exe, which it terminated.
I also ran netstat -b and it appears that the process jqs.exe was running a connection to www.brenz.pl:1031. I closed the process and removed it from my startup list.
This website was also linked to in my etc/hosts file: 127.0.0.1 www.brenz.pl. Which I removed of course.

Any ideas on what to do next?
    Thanks in advance

    Another update on the virus.

I have tried to use the DR.Web LIVECD to detect the virus, unfortunately the latest version(5.0.2) did not work, because my mouse and keyboard were not operational. An older version did work (5.0.0), but it did not find anything.
I am now using the kaspersky rescue disc, the latest version. It has found the virus and is able to disinfect the files. It turns out that I have Win32.Virut.CE and a few occurences of Packed.Win32.Krap.ai.
What has surprised me is that Norton Internet Security never detected these viruses even though it was up to date. Also I do not know where the virus came from, there is not a single clue.

I will update on the status later on and see if the disinfection has worked.
Do you have any other suggestions?
