I have used this program since its inception. I have been having some issues with the latest version and XP SP2. Primarily messages relating to "system recovered from a serious error" any time I revert the drive or often when I come out of hibernation.

Today I uninstalled GoBack. Oddly enough, when I did a search of the registry for goback, I found the following listed below both my installed (master/slave) hard drives:

    control-active service-goback2k

I am wondering if, even AFTER uninstalling the program, it still has altered my MBR. Has anyone here uninstalled GOBACK and if so, are you seeing the same thing in the registry.

Thanks for any insights that you can offer.
