I use Nortons Anti Virus 2001 and was wondering if is necessary to make a Resue Disk, which they indicate is a urgent thing to do?Isn't a Resue Disk the same as a Boot Disk or is there more to it?

    Thanks

I think it's a good idea to make them. You will probably need a box load fresh floppies though. If you get a boot sector virus or something that requires NAV to be run from outside Windows, that is what you need to use. I haven't tried Norton's myself, since I only have it on XP and you cannot make the disks on XP.

OK Rog, I'll go ahead and make the Resue Disks, which requires 8 Floppy Disks.

    Thanks
