i just joined this site, because I have a problem with my applications..

From the beggining, i ended up getting a virus, and it was called.."new win32" and it infected all my files on the computer, i ended up formatting the computer and now i cant use some of my applications. I've tried opening some of my keygens, and it says that its not a win32 application, ive googled search its and it comes to a svchost.exe file in my system32, i scanned it with my mcafee virus scan and it doesnt detect anything..

ive treid deleting it on the spot but yet nothing. I know the file is a big part of the system so i understand why it doesnt delete it, my computer was working fine until this virus infected my files...I cant even use my portable hard drive.. it doesnt show up or anything...

so if anyone could help..it would be much appreciated.. i can install most of my programs..and i need them to complete some tasks needed completed..

one application for instance is Photoshop cs3 keygen and Nero 7 Keygen.. all these result in a response .."..is not a valid win32 application"

Uhh. I have some theories about where you may have picked up this virus.

Let's omit the part about you trying to open keygens, is there any legal software that gives you the "invalid Win32 appplication" error?

I usually get this error running Resource Hacker, usually it's true. Check to make sure these... errr... programs are valid.
