not responding

    running win 98 have rebooted system but if i try to do anything ie:run a program or browse win explorer pc freezes up. press ctrl,alt&del its not responding .pIII 500 128 ram 17gb hd

    Can you get to control Panel>Add remove Programs?
    IF so try the Internet Explorer Repair tool.

    Does this also happen in Safe Mode?
